My rescue rig looks something like yours for the catcher but I found it wanted to push the dead boat down so I ended up using some coat hanger wire (did not drag too much in water)on the back beam of the catcher with 2 pieces of wire angled down and forward at about 45* angle to help scoop the dead boat and hold it up when pushing it to shoreComment

I use the exact boat but I use a tennis ball from the rear and the boat really bogs down with it, let me know how it works that way.Comment
