Did you check the water cooling for leaks?
Did you completely tape up the hatch?
Did you set the endpoints on the ESC before you ran?
What radio system are you running?
Did you program the ESC with the programming card? What setting did you use?

Also, because you have problems with it now after getting the electronics wet, you should let them dry completely before attempting to test it again.

Traxxas 2.4gz. Receiver. Recommend setting for the esc. Yes no leaks the hatch was not tape complete Cause was just running it for test in my pool. Tryed it again today esc sparked and a little smoke came out. Does this mean everything is fryer now. And will a Turnigy 60amp esc be to much.

By not taping the hatch, you probably killed your electronics. Water in a pool is just as wet as water in a lake. An expensive lesson.
