...consider race water conditions. A small boat (even 24") cant handle the wake produced by all the race boats in the water. You may take the lead, but when you finally lap, it'll be impossible to control in the larger boats wake.

    Learned that the hard way

Don't bother with this guy...he doesn't get it. We've got a DF29 with stock power that would be a lap ahead of him after only ONE LAP!

          Sweet_acord,
          repsol,
generally speaking, the higher c rate a battery the lower the energy density will be, generally measured in watt-hrs / Kg
I can give an example of how to caculate, if anyone is interested.
So, keeping the amps down is good for heat, and run time.
So, the BadAss missile has an unloaded prop speed of about 4600kv*(80% eff) *3s *3.7v nom = 40848 RPM!!!
Sweet_accord, you said you were targeting 3800kV on 4s, 80% eff, which would yield about 44992 RPM!! this should be a touch faster than the missile, all else being equal.
I was planing on going this same way with my Starship.
let me know how it turns out!
Cheetah, Super Rio, (Mod) Starship (Mod and sold),
