Took my supervee out for a drive last week and while running it flat out it hit a wave and went for a dive. It went down like a rocket and after 20-30 seconds it popped back up to the surface. After a quick swim to retrive it, I noticed that the hull had cracked almost all the way around. I have now stripped the entire hull and reinforced it with two layers of carbonfibre and epoxy. It now feels really strong and I'ts been prepered for paint. It will be painted gray metallic with a single red stripe. I hope I'll get it painted this weekend and perhaps get it back in the water next week.

At last got it painted and ready for some fun again, pretty pleased with the result. Hope to get it on the lake this weekend if its not to much wind.
Sorry for the bad picture, took it with my good old cellphone...

that looks great, hey i do my water cooling the same on my sv's, except you should run the "T" in the opposite way and ill tell you why. the straight feed off the bottom of your hull is a much higher pressure and constant line- it should be running straight thru the T and not being equally split by the T in to your rudder. and your rudder line should be running to the T so that it adds some extra pressure to the high pressure constant line when your turning- cause those rudder pickups really only work when the boat is making a turn. I hope this makes sense.Comment

Thanks, that makes perfect sense. Will do.
I'm not quite sure about the paint, but I know its RM paint for cars. A friend of mine is a carpainter and he did it in his workshop.__________________________________________________

I bought the carbon cloth in my local carparts store, but I guess you can get it pretty much everywhere they sell car or boat parts.__________________________________________________

My new Supervee did the same thing. I have recently stripped mine down to the hull to begin the repair but I am too lazy to finish it. Would you be interested in repairing, and re-inforcing mine for some $$$? I'll take care of the painting if you just prep it. I've never really worked with fiberglass repair as I came over from the r/c car world.Comment

I live in Norway so just the shippingcost would make you rather buy a new hull. Its pretty easy to fix so I would recommend that you just do it yourself. Good luck.__________________________________________________
