    KV is rpm per volt...i.e. 2084 x 14.4v = 30009.6rpm

      Hi all, im new to this forum so any advice is welcome;

      Having had my SV27 for a few months now I feel the speed is tailing off so I was considering an upgrade to either 7 cells or the ammo motor.

      I think I am sold on the ammo 2300.

      I am running 6cell IB4200 packs use either v440/3 and x642 props,

      Steven has said, make sure to get the ose metal jacket, the stock jacket just doesn't do the trick and to make sure to go to a bit smaller prop.

      Having read through this thread, it seams ok to use this motor (any other advice on this is welcome) but can anyone suggest a prop to use?

      Sorry if this has been covered, I just want to double check and give myself piece of mind.

      Cheers
      Allen

        x642 on the ammo is my recommendation.

          I know Im still a rookie but I like this 8xl cc80 cf45 prop combo. plenty of power and top end and great run times. I removed my cf turn fin and it really unleashed the top speed. handling is a little harder to manage but top speeds are insane. that setup with 2 2 cell lipos mounted as far possible forward
