Need help not sure what to do....

Hey guys got my sv out on Lake Canadarago for the first time this week, wow sucker is real fast. Got the boat dialed in after a few flip flops. but yesterday after running I was drying it out to pack up and I noticed a thin crack along the hull on the water outlet side where the hull is joined. Not too sure how to repair it though, doesnt leak at all though. I am going to contact Tower Hobbies to see what they say about replacing replacing the hull. I figured talking to you guys first would be my best bet though.. any info would be helpful thanks guys...

I had a similar problem. Basically the gel coat is cracked but the fiberglass is still good. I used 5 min epoxy or you could use CA. Fill the crack, let dry. I then sanded a bit with 220grit and re painted it. I just used Krylon Fusion White Gloss spray paint. Holds up perfect.

Welcome to the board. This is a common issue with the SV hull. Mine doesn't have it yet. But from what I've heard, it is just a cosmetic problem. But, just to be sure, I would sand the inside of the hull where the crack is, and apply a thin layer of epoxy. Shouldn't be too much of an issue.

The sv27 is a painted boat. Most times its the paint that cracks along the seem where the two halves are put together. Epoxy is the fix.
