Hey guys got my sv out on Lake Canadarago for the first time this week, wow sucker is real fast. Got the boat dialed in after a few flip flops. but yesterday after running I was drying it out to pack up and I noticed a thin crack along the hull on the water outlet side where the hull is joined. Not too sure how to repair it though, doesnt leak at all though. I am going to contact Tower Hobbies to see what they say about replacing replacing the hull. I figured talking to you guys first would be my best bet though.. any info would be helpful thanks guys...
Need help not sure what to do....

I had a similar problem. Basically the gel coat is cracked but the fiberglass is still good. I used 5 min epoxy or you could use CA. Fill the crack, let dry. I then sanded a bit with 220grit and re painted it. I just used Krylon Fusion White Gloss spray paint. Holds up perfect. -
Welcome to the board. This is a common issue with the SV hull. Mine doesn't have it yet. But from what I've heard, it is just a cosmetic problem. But, just to be sure, I would sand the inside of the hull where the crack is, and apply a thin layer of epoxy. Shouldn't be too much of an issue.Government Moto:

The sv27 is a painted boat. Most times its the paint that cracks along the seem where the two halves are put together. Epoxy is the fix.Steven Vaccaro
