    How Bad does it Leak?

    How much of a concern is this stuffing tube leak i have been hearing about on the SV? Is it easily fixed? This would be my first boat and i'm wondering if this should keep me from buying one.

      simple fix piece of tubing (rubber) size of water pickup hose over end of tube and lube shaft and slide through, shaft needs to stay well lubes, very inportant on this boat.....
