Prop Question

What are lifting props? Why does the manual says to stay away from these. I found some bronze 44mm diameter with 66mm pitch and 46mm with 55.2mm pitch on ebay. Would they be okay to use on my SV27? Thanks, rookie on Forum

Lifting prop not only directs water aft of the boat, but it also directs some of this water downward, creating "lift". 3-point hydros can benefit from this "lift" but on your hull type (V) it is not a good idea.
