Here is just a pic of my sv hangin around! Actually I just sprayed it with PPG porche red. In the sun it kinda turns more orange. I'll get the details done and post it on its stand. Paint turned out deep and smooth. cant wait to assemble.

Thought I better snap a pic of this thing before its to late.
The paint on the hood was so bad I had to cover it and dont have time to paint myself so stickers it is. I think the stickers is all thats holding her together.
So far she has collected a log, bass boat, the neighbors dock, a buoy and 4 full speed cartwheels.
Yesterday she hit 40.6 mph w/ a stock motor and IB4200nimah. Do I really need an ammo or lipos?Attached FilesComment

i had to bring my boat back from the dead since she had a run in with a buoy at 30 +... layed up alayer of glass on each side and zpoxyed the inside... covered up the antenna hole and hatch release... sprayed her red with a rattle can and threw on some stickers from a TLD kit that i had at home... came out pretty nice but i do have soem orange peeling in the finish... not bad but noticable particularly on the deck... oh well, pretty good for a first attempt... at least now she doesn t take on any water when it flips...
this summer i plan on building an OM26 with an SV powerplant... should be fun..
anyway, her is my SV, version 2.0... thanks to everyone annd this forum for so much invaluable advice... great stuff...

OK, here is one of mine... I'm trying it out in N2-Mono...
All stock, with the exception of the following pieces:
- Fuller's carbon turn fins on both sides (stock brackets)
- OSE Adjustable trim tabs (bolted into stock location/holes)
- Neu 15-series motor
- Barracuda 125 ESC
- Prop
- 2S2P Lipo batteries
I wanted to do it in a fashion with minimal mods, so I could easily convert it back to Spec SV27 specs.Comment

Here is my little missle!! She is stock, except KINTEC RACING trim tabs w/water pick-up and S&B Grim 42x55 prop....... I run it on 2S 3700-5300mAh lipos.........Fun boat for sure..Last edited by txboatpilot; 01-29-2008, 12:51 PM.Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!Comment

For the one in the attached picture, it started out as the green hull... I like that green... rich but not too dark... Really looks good in the light...
This boat has since been converted back to a Spec SV27 setup, so I can race it in the Spec or Stock classes when available...Attached FilesLast edited by Darin Jordan; 01-29-2008, 03:23 PM.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

And on this one... I started with a white hull... If I were to do it again, I'd go the other way and start with a green one...Attached FilesDarin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

I just got a green one and am trying to decide on a paint scheme. So I was just curious weather that was the green and how it looks with other colors. I origionally whanted an orange one then I was going to go with some kind of black accents but I couldn't get an orange one. I'm thinking that orange might still go allright with the green hull. Or maybe a blk and wht checkered theme like I've seen on a titan. It had a checkered theme on the bow. I think the checkered bow along with a checkered design on the sides would be cool. My dilema is I'm going to patch the origional antenna hole up so I either need to match the green on the cowl, paint the whole cowl a different color, or do a stripe over the patch. Anyway my question is does the green on the other one you painted match the SV green, and if so what color and brand is it?Comment
