More problems with this POS. Now the stock ESC fried too! The quality of this product is absolute junk.... I ordered Hydra 120 today so from $200 i paid for the boat now costing me more than $500 with upgrades.....

You must've had a lemon SV27. I bought a used one and have sunk mine or had it completely filled with water and the motor and esc work fine. The only thing I had to replace was the servo. The stock esc isn't to great. I mean it can only handle nimh batteries and if you want to run lipo's without having to time each run and running the risk of damaging your cells a Low voltage cutoff is a must. So going with the hydra 120 well benefit you more down the road. imo.

Laddy, welcome to the world of FE boating. RTR boats are a learning point and some recent designs are pretty good, BUT WE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES, as I did and thanks to many peers I was industrious enough to find the Holy Grail. Try and Try again!!
