    cf45 prop steering now different?

Hey guys I just recieved my order from OSE today. I order 42,45 cf props and port side turn fin. Well I went straight for the 45mm and I love it she really woke up and maybe 1 ft of cav. Temps seem greater than expected 120 on the motor and 95 esc and batterys 90 degrees. I've changed the cooling and the motor silicone housing can't handle the better water pressure Leak Leak LOL.

Anyway I did my best to align the left side turn fin to equal the same angle as the right side. I now have no more hoping when I make a left turn but I get a wierd noise and it feels like I'm being fighted to turn now at a slower speeds. Is the prop to big now and I need to move my rudder in a different location because its interfearing with the rudder flow? Also the rudder is fully tucked in. Any help guys

LMAO, mono hulls and left turns just dont mix. <--- sarcasm. The 45mm prop is quite big for that hull but seems to work great. I suppose if you had an inline system it may work better but with my experience I just gave up trying to turn left and took the left turn fin back off. SAW and oval are just as fun. I have found larger deep V hulls are better for offshore boats.

lol now that makes sense I should have realized that. I was wondering if moving the rudder back (say 1" or more) would help

I dont remember now that I sold mine but I have heard the front edge of rudder should be in line with leading edge of prop. I thought thats how they came anyway so I dont know. Mr. D Smock would know along with many others on here. goodluck and have fun.

I'm not sure how to word this right, but I turned my rudder bracket 180* and that put my rudder about 1/2" further away from the prop..
            turns left good..
