how to make the hatch water proof

Hey guys I've flipped over my sv27 twice already and Im getting the hull filled with water even when I taped here up. What can I do to have an easy openalbe water proof top on these bad boys?

The hatch is supposed to be an easy fix

lay a bead of clear silicone caulking in the groove for the hatch on the boat...then take some clear plastic sandwich wrap and wrap the hatch cover with it...then set the hatch into its groove of the boat and clamp it shut....let the silicone dry completely....when it dries it wont stick to the sandwich wrap and you can take it off the hatch...DONE

then deal with the stock antenna hole..seal it up
