My Supervee's

Oh just a quick picture that i like of both of my Supervee's awaiting there first runs.

Maybe someone can help me out before i have to make a thread about it.


The green SV is hurting right now.
Bought it used for $200 from Jbugman on RRR.
Problem is, it arms fine, but the motor just sits there and chatters.
Im using 2 fully charged 6 cell intellect 4200 nimh packs.


Any ideas?

I know this may be a dumb question, Have you tried swapping out the ESC with the one from the yellow boat?

A loose connection or bad solder could cause it.

Lastnight i pulled the motor out and tried it with the esc in the other boat, same problem.

So im blaming the motor for this.

I have a freind who had the exact same problem when he pulled the motor out of the boat the red connector on the motor fell off into his hand...he resoldered and it worked....he thought his motor had froze

All of the bullet connectors seems very solid as far as connection goes.

I dont have much money at all to buy a new motor.
The guy i bought the boat from has offered me a stock
esc and radio box for the non working motor.

Im still thinking about the deal.
I will still have to buy a motor some how.

Man i have been having alot of fun with the green supervee here lately.

I sold the yellow one awhile back so i am back down to 1 boat which is fine.
I dont miss the yellow one thats for sure. lol

Ive got some video from today that can be found in the video section here one of these days when i get all the video's uploaded.


My set up -

Stock motor and ESC
Prather S220 prop
Port side turn fine
Polished rudder
OSE trim tabs
Trimmed up radio box
Spectrum z570 servo
JR XR2i AM radio
Relocated antenna
OSE antenna mount

I run GP 3700 6 cell packs and my temps are 110-112 for everything.
Everyonce in awhile i will run 2s2p 5000mah lipo's and the temps are right around the same.
Ive also got some 4000mah lipos but havent ran them yet.

Not to happy with my lipo results right now.
