lost my prop shaft - will a normal 3/16 prop shaft work for a replacement?

i lost my prop shaft from my SV27 with stock hardware (sacrificed to the lake gods ), the drive cable was still there but the solder broke.

will this (http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...oct-oc150L-24c) work fine with the stock hardware on my boat?

also will this (oct-oc6150ps) prop shaft work with the stock flex cable (that i still have for a spare?)

    thanks guys.

      Hi,

This page has all the SV parts and upgrades
      http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/products.php?cat=52

You can either get this one complete with no cutting no soldering required
      Product ID: ose-svcable
      OSE Upgraded AquaCraft SuperVee Cable

or the one you mentioned but get it assembled and also note that you will have to cut the flex using a Dremel tool preferrably. If not done before better buy the first one because when cutting the flex you can destroy it

Thanks for the response, I have assembled a couple flex cables for my gasser but not on the SV yet. I'm on a tight budget so I wanted the unassembled for the cost savings. I did end up buying the two products mentioned in the first post.
