    boating safely

well it happend, today my son(9yrs old) and i were running today(both sv27`s)diff. frequencies.
well he picked up some debri and brought it in to clean it off,i continued to run and on a pass down the front straight my boat suddenly hooks left, i had no control of it until the last second when it was too late,it collided with his boat as he was about to pick it out of the water. he was struck by the rudder in the arm just above the wrist which required 12 stitches in the emergency room.
please do us all a favor if you still run the stock radio please replace it with an FM unit.
his boat has a FM but i still had a AM.(JUNK)
a lesson learned the hard way.
    thanks

PS. (NEED A HATCH FOR THE KIDS BOAT. IT`S DESTROYED)

Wow, sorry to hear that. Thankfully it wasnt his eye or face. Please contact AquaCraft with this matter. Maybe it will open their eyes to a issue.

Just bought an Aggressor FM last night. I was sick of the runaways! YZ, sorry to hear about your son. I hope he has a speedy recovery.

I would bill them for the Emergency room visit, cost of the corrective sugery needed to cover the scar and for your time. I hope he is ok.

considering how small the 'boating comunity' is and the relitively few sv's(compared to cars & planes) have been sold, I find it significant the number of reported radio problems there are.
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

can you believe still no response from aquacraft,go figure!
i guess they dont want to accept responsability.
stitches came out friday and the wound is doing well but he still doesnt want to run his boat yet.
still waiting on the hatch from avengersteve then he might change his mind.
