    Motor for sv27??

I am going to have to purchase a motor for my sv and was curious if I could get a little more bang for my buck by getting a feigo. I just wondered what size in that line would the stock mount hold if any. winds arent an issue now I just didnt know if I should go all the way with xl series? thanks

It depends on the use. For structural apps I use the 2ton stuff. for just holding an object down the 5 min is fine.

I have been running a 12L motor using the stock SV ESC on 12 cells for about 6 months with no problem at all and it hauls.

It is a 12 L Feigo from OSE. It works with the stock mount and ESC. I have had great results with this setup.

The 12L feigo say it will only handle 6-12 cells. I would like to use 14 (since I have sets for that), would it be ok to do that, or would I have to get a XL? Would the stock esc work for the XL?

The stock esc will not handle the XL motor. You should ask Steven at OSE if the L motor will handle 14 cells. I think it will but ask him just to be safe.
