    52.4 mph sv

Finally cracked the 50mph barrier or as us Aussies say 80km mark. Running an 8XL with an ETTI 150amp speedy 2 x 2s 25c 5000mah lipos. First run with CF 45mm prop 47.6 mph . then 2nd run , ran a Prather B230 & gps 52.4 mph .Dont know how that dude cracked 58.4mph ,ive tried the same set up and cant get close !!!1 Every thing ran cool no heat issus , running 2x SV27 silicon water jackets on the 540XL motor kept it nice & cool ....

Bat temp. and good lipos. I ran low 50's a few times and thought something was wrong you could tell it was off just by sound. I did that a couple times at the end of the day, and it left me wondering. Then i had time to run again after a low 50ish run i charged the batteries up and warmed them up some more and ran a high 57.

Adding 12-18 ounces of lead at the CG will keep the model on the water and make it less prone to take off. Sometimes you go faster by adding weight.

                Sv 27

                Scoota,
I see your in Australia, me also, I have just ordered a SV 27, and a couple of 2 S lipo's for it, do you charge your packs as one, ie, balance all 4 cells?
I am looking at chargers and are just a bit unsure of how to wire the balance lead.
