    installing a water jacket

This is kinda a stupid question, but I just recieved my first water jacket from ose, (thanks for the fast shipping steve). On the package is there a way to tell what hole is what?Meaning water in water out, or are they the same just make sure you install the jacket right side up and make sure you put the inlet on the hole toward the back of the motor, also what is easer to use like the package says use light oil (does that mean like trinity bearing oil) or soapy water? sorry for all the newbie questions. I just have heard once there on they don't come of so easy.
I also bought a cf 45 and a cf48 what is the best to run on with if my setup if it is stock running on 3300 cells for now?

Any ifno would be great and many thanks,
    Jeremy

both holes are the same there is no in or our specific just install it so you can best hook the tubing up and fit it in the boat.

light oil or soapy water should work just fine.

then I fill the system with water block one end and blow in the other to check for leaks

    enjoy your boat
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

Just a quick note about placement of discharge hose ... I believe Rex mentioned this awhile back and I would not have thought about it!

Locate the discharge on the top of the motor at the highest point to let all the air out!
We did it with a Bang!

it do make a difference(especially if you're 'pushing the envelope') I saw a 20+ degree drop in motor temps with my mean machine. a word about o-rings, oil has been known to 'attack' them, soap & water is used at most tire shops (for mouting tyres on rims).
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in
