Motor Hard to Turn
11-05-2008, 03:51 PM
When I turn the motor by hand it feels as if it is sticking or binding. I have other brushless motors i run in my trucks & buggy. When I turn those with my hand they spin quite easily. Is this a problem???

If you CAN turn the SV27 motor by hand, without the assistance of a pair of pliers or something, THEN there is something wrong...
The motor is VERY hard to turn by hand naturally... It's a slotted design with 6-poles.
The motors that turn very easily with no resistance are slotless designs...
