Prop/motor will not turn.... HELP!!!

So I had my SV out on the lake today and for the first 2 mins it ran fine then all of a sudden it died. So I got in our canoe and went out and got her and when I got back to shore checked it out and the ESC makes the proper sound when connecting the batts and arming it and the rudder works fine but when I try the throttle (after it's armed ofcourse) the motor (from what my ears can tell) not the ESC makes 3 or 5 higher pitched beeps everytime the throttle is pulled..... has anyone had this happen and can you help me on what is causing this and how to fix it???

in trouble shooting we try to eliminate possibilities(and for us reading the forum have to ask all sorts of Qs to do so), so. have you; disconnected the propshaft from the motor and verified that the shaft will turn? freely? if the answer to those two is yes, next try turning the motor shaft(batts disconnected please), will it turn?
