Not sure if the esc actually has that feature but if it does or does not I think all you can do is go through the initial setup procedure. Full throttle, full brake, neutral. Or however it goes. its been awhile. I dont see the need for "speed break" anyway.

I have an Aquacraft system.. no such feature. The BJ has a different ESC (more options).

The SV does have a break, weather its called a speed break I dont know. You know the break is on if when you arm the boat you will hear like 4 double beeps instead of 4 single beeps. The break should problt be off, at least this is how I set um up.

There is a thread that tells you if you do a search, just spell it right not like I did.... but if I remember its something like turn the radio on and pull or push the throtal then plug in the packs while keeping the trigger pulled or pushed... something like that. I have it printed out someplace if you cant find it or someone dont post it for sure.

default setting is off. for boats, in particular fast electric boats, brakes are ineffective when applied to the prop. then too the use of the brake setting may actually cause damage to the esc(from the back emf). best to simply leave it off.
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

At the speed that the boat is going if you apply brake , the shaft cannot hold up to that remember the shaft is twisted in one direction if you brake it will probably unwind.
