The Octura's will need to be sharpened and balanced. So you might want to get a prop balancer and read up on how to sharpen and balance a prop. That's assuming that you are new to the hobby. If not, ignore this post.

I have a SV27 with the stock motor and I'm using a X642 and a detongued X445 with lipos. That's about the limit I want to push this hull and keep it on the water. I've had my share of flips and I don't particularly like the swimming part.
And yes, I have tried the Ammo 2300 in it but decided it would be of better use in my BJ26.

Unfortunately I don't have any spares that would work. I still got a few projects boats going and will need my remaining props. You've got alot of boats, dude. I can't talk. I have about 9-11 myself. This hobby is too addictive.

agreed on the addictive part. about 80 percent of my boats dont work, all electronic issues go figure. the sv and bristol and the villan are the only working boats right now. thanks though about the props i think i might have a problem getting the right config for the ammo 2300. maybe ill wait awhile on putting the motor in until the stock motor pisses out
then ill drop it in and probably burn it up to
its either lose women or FE boating? ahhh i choose FE boating
