    BEC red wire disconnection

I just received the 4 cell receiver pack from OSE. I want to run 2 7 cell battery pack. Now i'm confused which red wire should I disconnect from the BEC. Should I disconnect the red wire from CH. 1. CH. 1 wire goes to the servo. Or should I disconnect the red wire from CH.2. CH. 2 goes to the ESC.

are you running the packs in series or parallel?
if you run them in series then remove the red wire for the ESC cable, or get an extension cable
and cut the red wire tip from that to avoid damage to the ESC cable).

Hi! Im sorry I don't know about series or parallel. I have just a stock SV27. I just don't know which red wire should I disconnect. There are 2 red wires. A red wire on channel 1 which goes to the servo and a red wire on channel 2 that goes to the ESC.
Is it the ESC that should be avoided from damage? If it is, then its the red wire from CH. 2 that should be remove.

Yes you need to disconnect the red wire from the esc to the receiver, you can use a toothpick and remove the metal clip from the plug that goes into the receiver. then just tape the wire back out of the way

I just recently purchased a castle bec from my LHS so I can run 7cells. Does this method apply the same for the bec instead of using the receiver pack??

Yes, with the castle bec you need to pull the red wire from the esc to the rx

Which port on the receiver do I connect the plug from the esc? Is it the battery port or channel 2?

BEC goes in the BAT Ch.
