    No Beep, ESC or motor

After drying off the components, and put in a new servo and reciever I was able to power up once and I ran the motor for a couple of seconds to make sure all was well. Now I can't get a beep but I can run the servo just fine. Any suggestions? Would it be more likely a ESC or Motor?

    Thanks

my guess is the ESC, if it was the motor the ESC would still arm(the beeping sound) if you have access to another motor/esc you could troubleshoot

I got it to work. Strangely, I had to plug the esc into the channel 2 on the receiver instead of batt. Fired right up, I just ran a 2 packs through it out on my lake, this boat is so much fun

The ESC needs to go into the second channel as this is the channel from the transmitter that controls speed. The batt. channel is for when you are using a seperate receiver /servo battery pack instead of the BEC from the esc. If you are doing this you will need to remove the red wire from the ESC to the receiver. You only usually do this when you are using a battery pack with more voltage than the BEC can handle.

I could make some suggestions but where I live it will take you about a 14 hour flight to come and shop here. :) Depends if you are looking for Nicad or Lipo.

Some online places I have seen mentioned are:

for sure... Free shipping and competitive prices, besides the owner, Pat, other then liking boaters, is very helpful and accommodating.
