    changing out speed control

I would like to change him a speed control on my supervee 27, to a speed control that has reverse. Preferably something made for the Marine use, like 25% reverse. I would like to use the stock motor though.

Thanks for all the help in advance, I'm pretty new at this, I just got my boat three days ago.

You do not want to run in reverse. You will damage the flex shaft.

I agree with Rat. Reverse running will unravel the flex shaft thereby rendering it useless.

so if that's the case can I change out the flex shaft to something harder or a solid one I really like the reverse, for the maneuverabilityin tight spaces.

If you are running your brushless sv in tight spaces your asking for trouble...These boats are designed to go fast forwardwant reverse get a tug...lol..
Ok reverse can be nice for a rescue boat. Fast and reverse just dont go together in boats.. Im not saying that it cannot be done.. Aquacraft has some revrseable boats ....I think...
Twin cat 9xl,... 29 titan 8xl,....37 in mono kb48 8xl.... 42 in twin elc cat project... 42 in gasser cat 260 modded zenoh''' planes and trucks....

You could try to fit a wiredrive to the SV. It will take a bit of modification to get it done though. Why do you want an SV to go in reverse??

mainly for the maneuverability. I'm just trying to show off a little bit.I was also wondering if anyone out there have any experience Futaba 3pk radio, specifically the functions in the set menu regarding boats. It looks like some sort of mixing but what about I have no clue what for.

              Thanks Sean.
