    the black stuff is _____ air plain DOPE. I was just trying to water proff the wood and clean things up a little bit. the motor is strate my camra is crooked. but You think I got the rest fixed? should that stuffing tube be glued down solid or just at the sturn? Thanks

        The stuffing tube should be glued down at the sturn a few inches from the coupler or under where the radio box is. Look at page 6 bottom right pic.



        You can see it here too:



        So there should be two glue points for the stuffing tube basically, in the back and the front area of the stuffing tube. You could add more but should not be needed.
