    will it handle?

    this is a repost from a thread i started in the main forum..................will a stock SV27 brushless esc handle a 7-XL motor? thanks.

          It can but the ESC will quickly overheat and fry, i have done it with an 8xl and it killed the esc. if you want a cheap alternative in ebay they sell a mystery 100amp esc for 27 dollars shipped, and i use it on my 8xl and 2 25c 4500 lipos and it goes well over 50 mph.
