Hatch mods.

I would like to hear from anyone who has made any mods to the stock SV27 hatch set up.
Ive had ideas of using door dampening foam and adding multiple srew down points.

Don’t put any additional holes in the hatch... That only adds more opportunity for water intrusion. Use waterproof hockey tape to seal the hatch.

Tape is what ive been using.
Just looking at other options like water proof screws.

I wish a different method was made for sealing a hatch,cuse ive wasted a bunch of tape already.

Just think of it this way.

It's not a waste if it keeps the water out and you can bring in a dry boat after

a few laps.:)

Motor 100$ esc 100$ or more cells aprox 100$ roll of hatch tape 2$

My Titan has a really nice hatch locking system and foam. I bet its waterproof..

I am not willing to test my electronics to find out I tape it. If you are carefull with the tape you can use the same 2 ft of tape all day.

But then if you are rich and dont mind buying new esc's go ahead take the chance. Whats a rx cost my last one was 60$. It takes 60 rolls of tape to equal that esc.. Even if its 3$ a roll thats 20 rolls.... Be smart use the tape.

When ya your electronics due to water dont bi*** just buy more...

And another roll of tape.... Wait why am I bothering go ahead fry it.

Ok heres another option.... I get great tape in 3-4 colors 1 inch wide for 95 cents a roll ill sell ya it for cost plus shipping ill even foot the gas bill to get it for ya

There is like enough to tape boats all summer on 1 roll Its like black electricions tape but without the goo and wider and more on a roll...

yellow white blue green i think red also..... I can get bigger rolls for I think 1.65$
