    Receiver packs.

I just bought a new ESC for my SuperVee 27. Im running a B36-50-06 2300kv Inrunner. Batteries are 4S 3500mah running in parallel. My Esc is a Turnigy 100amp http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...eed_Controller
I have 2 questions: 1) Should/Do i need to run a receiver pack? Im not sure if the ESC has a BEC or not. 2) The wires off the ESC are all red does it matter what order i connect them to the blue/yellow/red wires on the brushless motor?

This forum is fantastic for novices like myself.

I'm not too sure about the bec, i'm not too sure what "Opto only is". Someone else should be able to help there. I don't think it has one so I would run a pack or connect a bec into the system.

In relation to the motor wiring just connect all the wires up, if the motor spins in the wrong direction, just swap any two of the wires.

I would assume it has a bec, but if you want to be safe and run a pack remember to pull the red wire out of the rx plug on the esc
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

Help with BEC, receiver, and servos.

Now that i have established my ESC (Turnigy 100amp) has no BEC. I need some help in how i need to connect it, the receiver and servo.
Any help will be muchly appreciated.

Im still deciding on what to use as a receiver pack.
Im thinking of using a UBEC switching DC-DC regulator which will allow me to use a small lipo.

Im still a bit confused as to where/what order the plugs go.
I have the stock aquacraft receiver rx-100 and sx-100 servo.
There are three plug holes on the receiver: Batt, Ch. 1, and Ch. 2
Which one does the ESC plug into?
Which one does the servo plug into?
Which one does the reciver pack plug into?

                  Thanks for your help guys!
So when i plug the ESC into Channel 2 do i need to disconnect the red wire from the plug or not?
If so what is the reason for doing this.
                  Cheers Craig.

Not necessary with that esc IMO as it has no on board BEC .
