The jackets are designed to cool the windings. The specs I see on the 2300 and 3600 are that they are 50mm in length. If thats the case the windings are the same length. Let me know if the 3600 is longer?

I meant the AMMO 2600 sorry. The Motor Length: 2.2" (56mm), and the Motor Diameter: 1.42" (36mm).

Which one are you using???? Have the link to the product Avanti? Oh you are talking about the e-Bay ones. Yeah I don't order from e-bay. Too much fraud lately. See I like how the aluminum one fits on the Feigao, it almost completely covers the can. I guess I like something that is covering the whole motor for the best efficiency and cooling effect.

A Feigao 9L will run just as well as the ammo 2600 for about $10 less. The sv motor is a multi pole motor. The rest are 2 pole motors like the Feigao. The benefit everyone see's with a stock sv motor is not realized with the other winds. The sv motor was specially made for that hull and can spin some huge props.

Ok I have resolved the issue;

this : http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=ose-mjacket fits the AMMO 2600. I chose it over the http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...=ham-ammo-jack as it's longer. 45mm compared to 35.56 MM is much nicer as the 2600 is a bit longer motor.
