    Hydra 120 Setup

    Greetings,

I'm starting into Lipo's and just wanted to check all the settings with everything in regards to using Lipo's, so I would like some advise on what that all should be set at please?

    Charging:

Note: Have an Bantam e-Station BC6-10 charger

    A. What should be the charge values at for a Lipo with these specs: Capacity: 4300mAh 7.4v/2 cell/2S1P 20C Constant, 30C Bursts

    1. Single charge settings?
    2. Series charge settings?

    Programming:

    A. What should be the BEC voltage be set to with two Lipo's 2S1P wired in series? I'm presuming 6v to drive the receiver and the servo. (Have the CC BEC).
    B. What is the best settings to use on the Hydra 120? Motor will be Ammo 2300. I'm looking for all the values if possible, timing, LVC etc. but mostly the LVC value with my setup that maybe someone else may be using?

    Thank you kindly!

      start power = ?
      current limiter=?

start power...I've been using low(if the ammo doesn't like that try normal)
current limiter = if you're not racing I would suggest 'enabled'(its to save the batts for overdischarge rates)
        thottle curve = linear

Current limiting is to attempt to save the ESC, not the batts.

oh, appearently I mis-read something...well the enable bit applies (racing/nonracing) even if I got which bit of equipment wrong. thanks for clearing that up.
right then, if you're not racing, enable the limiter.

ok, I will be setting the Hydra's LVC to cutom 13.2v to protect the Lipo's. As for the BEC the voltage will be 6.

              Thank you both!
