Good news.....the green SV showed up yesterday. Looks like the stuffing tube needs alinement, and just a few chips out of the gelcoat near the right forward lower edge. Should not affect performance. Hopefully I will leak check, run it and gps it tomorrow with a borrowed set of 2s 25c 2150mah lipos until I decide what to order. One of my aviation buddies has quite a stock of different lipos for me to try before I settle on anything specific.
I question the length of the stinger. It is more than 10% of the hull length....have seen other monos and modified S/Vs that were shorter and seemed to have exceptional performance. I thought the rudder L/E should be closer to the prop nut, certainly not as far forward of it?
