SV27 Battery Help

My sv27 hops a lot with 2- 6 cell 4200 packs want to move them forward but not sure how i should do this its my first boat. Its all stock and haven't been able to even think about opening her up just hops anything over half throttle. Thanks

Knock the fronts of the battery trays out so the batteries can be moved forward. stick some velcro furher forward to hold the batteries secure and then experiment with the best position for the batteries to sit.

Strange that you can using 6S lipo with stock ESC,
I'm using stock ESC with BJ26 stock motor and dead(burt).

Can anyone pm or suggest me SV27 stock ESC spec???
That why i move to HV120 ESC,so high cost.

I think his reference is to 6 nimh cells and not lipos....

Carefully(!) adjust the trimtabs slightly downward.
My boat can run excellent one day in smooth water and hop all over the place the next day if the water is rough, then the tabs need adjusting to run great again.
Adjusting the tabs down will cost you some speed because the boat will run with more hull in the water (wetter).

I think the adjustable trimtabs from Offshore are a must for this boat.
They make boating life a lot easier.
