    quick noobie lipo question

Is there a low voltage cut off for a stock supervee? or is this something I would have to buy if i want to run lipos?

The SV does not have a cut off. I posted this same question awhile ago. Here is the easiest way. Get a Novak 4s lipo cut off(because of 2s in series is 4s). It cost me $25. Wire it in and be good to go.

I have two Lipo 6000HV 2S2P 7.4V Pack and two Lipo 3000HV 2S 7.4V Pack both from MaxAmps.
What cut off should I get and where should I solder the cutoff?
      Thanks for your help,

just strip back some wire on the positive and negative, then solder the ends to the wire. Its only is ment to monitor voltage not carry that voltage. Then plugs inline with the servo to cut power.

Novak makes one. It is called smart stop. If you are runing those in a series then you would need one for 4 cells.

Dimension engineering offers one that takes up to 12s lipos and has a 3v per cell soft cutoff but...I'm not sure if it's compatible with pistol tx as it says "only compatible with 0-100% throttle one way....car version soon " .....dunno...I just ordered one to find out.

I believe that one will throw you into full reverse when it kicks because it is meant for an airplane. The car version, I think I heard they had quit working on. Most newer ESC have a LVC incorparated.

Ok, so what kind of voltage cutoff and setting is needed if going to run two 2s1p packs (7.4v on each pack)?

                Thank you.
