    Shortening leads motor to esc

    Hey guys,

I have just finished shortening my leads on the stock esc to my motor,
as I heard it was better to have them abit shorter than they come stock as the motor can respond better and there would be abit less resistance.
However now my batteries seem to be much hotter aftrer each run. Is this a coincidence or would the shorter leads
mean heat would be building up somewhere else?

My motor (ammo 2300) and stock esc barely get over 80*F

    Thanks for any help
