Super vee 27 battery trays

can they be removed. i run my battery's to the front of the boat and want more options on where to put them. will it weaken the hull any. my 7 cell nimh wont fit in the trays.

Pull the trays out with pliers and lay velcro or glue it down,then u can adjust center of gravity too

Hey mate,

I ripped mine out by hand, just snapped them out...the hull will not be weakened by this.
I now have a strip of velcro (hook and loop) on either side running from the back of the radio box to the front of the motor.
I run 7 cell nimhs and can move them forward or back depending on water conditions.
this works great for me, just make sure you fix the batteries their entire length with the velco, the 7cells have a bit of weight and you don't want them coming loose!
