supervee 27 leopard 4074 2000kv 6cell lipo
My green supervee 27 has got some upgrades
I have had it for 2 years, i ran stock setup 4s lipo x642 42amp draw and 61kmph
i had a nemesis 3674 1200kv on 6s and turnigy 180amp x642 72kmph
and i had leopard 4074 1400kv on 6s ant turnigy 180amp x642 75kmph
the wood on sides in hull is removed and servo is mounted in the back of the hull.
the big black box is also removed.
the new setup:
leopard 4074 2000kv on 6s kypom 35c 3800mah turnigy 180amp x437/3 detounge
and x440 2 blade detounge
Today was first time with new setup.
Ran it just too check on 5s x437/3 detounge it gave 72kmph. everything cold.
All runs below is with 6s 35c kypom:
my first run with x437/3 was 86kmph 54mph on garmin GPS i was very happy with that.
everythin motor esc,batteries and caps deans all were cold
my second run with x437/3 was 91kmph 57mph
my third run with x440 2 blade was 92kmph 58mph
everything is cold and nice.
i am very excited the boat runs very smooth i thought it would be very bad in handling but it is ok at this speed =)
maybe i will move the CG a little forward at top speed its a little light in the front.
will try more speedruns too se if i can go even faster
this is a super setup by the way high RPM 6s and small prop and no problems with torque roll
everything stays cool the coolingjacket for leopard 4074 was not in stock so i stretched the original small aquacraft jacket on =) it works it wont take too much water pressure so i have put in a piece of small diameter pipe BEFORE the coolingjacket =) lowers the pressure.. even with this much too small coolingjacket motor is cold maybe 30 degree celsius.
