    Can this Happen

    WHen I went to run my SV today it would not Get on a plane,the bow would sit up high and the stern would dig into the water.Am I running the wrong prop.

    All stock
    3600 nimh pack(duratrax)
    L38*55 prop-its a Lifter prop please explain this to me

    You may be using a prop too small in diameter for the boat/setup... Motor rpm is not high enough to use 38mm prop... You should try 42mm prop or 45mm carbon props work well... Lifting props are mostly used on riggers and hydros....

      Put either a 42x55 or X442 on it. Sharpened and balanced, both props will pull very well.

        I run a 42x55 GrimRacer prop in mine. Works well.

            No, it is a standard prop. I usually do not run lifter props on mono hulls.

              just a thought. would the rudder angle cause it to dig in? lower tip of the rudder as fwd as possible, creating a small amount of downward force?
