My SV27 Rebuild

I had a crack going down both sides right at the seam of my sv27. So since it is the end of the season figured time to fix it. Layed some carbon fiber and changed the stock motor out for a castle 1512 1.5y and used an ose 1515 water jacket on the motor. figured out how to use the water jacket without drilling new holes in the jacket. also now using a hydro 120 with a castle external bec.

now for the spring and the ice to go...lol.

I did that as well ruined my sv with all the extra weight

i will have to see if it is over kill this spring, ice is hear for the next few months. did you up grade the motor? i am hoping the added power of the castle motor makes up for the extra weight.

Ye running the Ammo motor it was just too much weight It handled shockingly. And bounced like mad. I now upgraded to a Delta force 26 copy hull.

You got a bunch of great stuff in their Ray. The motor/ESC/Servo all quality goodies. Too bad the water is hard. Be patient. Spring is around the corner.

i am running a castle 1512 1.5y and a castle hydra 120 with an etti capacitor bank and external castle ubec. motor on castle 6.5mm bullets and esc on 5.5mm bullet connectors. only going to run 4s 500mah lipos on it.

I honestly think it will be too heavy. Maybe try the motor about 2 inches further back or something.

your SV running that way was not due to extra weight, it's in your setup (strut and or rudder, also trim tabs)
