rounding the rudder

Does this help keep the rudder from lifting the hull of the boat out of the water?

Here is an example of the rudder on my SV27. All of my hardware is custom built but the idea is the same on any rudder.

I rounded off a UL 1 rudder that I purchased for my Miss Vegas.....(long story)anyway...here is my rudder rounded and the Dremmel tool I used to do it.
