Ya.. me too, don't know how it will act with a 42 prop... might have to drop down or maybe i can bring it up to a 45... with the torque of this motor.. Also need to get a new ESC, a 120 amper.

I'm wondering how this motor performs as well. From what I've read it pushes 1500W and at that wattage with 2200KV, I would think anything less than a 30" hull with this motor would be a rocket on the water on 4S. You'll probably just need a 120A+ ESC to match it.

I've been playing and testing some different outrunners in small monos and cats recently and have found that they have been causing a lot of handling problems as far as torque roll issues. Especially the bigger castle and t-600 outrunners. The H/K typhoon outrunner has worked pretty well since it is relatively small in diameter but still puts out plenty of power.

haha man i have an extra t600 1400kv sitting here, and i just stripped my sv of all internal wood work as its warped and expanding. it appears that the sv's wood work is kinda cheap and not well sealed at all. ive owned the boat a while but only run her a handful of times.

I have the same outrunner I'll be using in a 33 inch mono. I hear that t-600 is a torque monster! I would think it's a little overkill in the sv.

Most of my boat uses outrunner motor, and the fastest so far is my triton(32") as Im using align 650L(rewound) originally its 1220kv, after rewound maybe 1400 or 1500. It tend to blow over a few times and Im using 44mm metal prop to get it into speed. The best thing is, it doesn't melt the dean plug and Im using 6s to powered it.
