    new sv27

hello i just bought a new supervee 27 stock.

    it runs on 4s lipo...

i wonder if i can put my octura x645 on it?
will the stock esc and motor handle it on 4s lipo?
    what speed can i get?
i have heard people put x642 too it but not the x645..
with x642 people get about 42mph i think..

Yea that's fine. Always get into a habit of timing your runs 3-5 minutes. Always check your temps. A x642 is a good all around prop and will work fine on a stock SV. Did you install a lipo-shield to your stock esc?

in my opinion the stock water jacket will leak once you improve the water pick up some. it couldn't handle the increased water pressure. if you drill out the water pick up in the rudder it increases the water pick up ten fold.just make the hole a little bit bigger and drill threw the rudder so it picks up water no matter which way you turn the boat.

High 30s, trimmed a little loose and with a nice current you can break into the 40s. On 4s you don't need to disable the bec.
