turnigy or other cheapo replacement motors

looking to pick up my a new motor for my sv27... formerly ran awesome on a 9xl (cheers doby :) ) on nimh... 9xl is going in the df29, need a motor now to run on stock svESC with lipo shield using cheapo 2s 5000 30 - 40c...

which one of these would you go for - if any can t beat the price...

less than half of a stock sv27 replacement motor... maybe it isn t the quality but it might be worth a shot

anyone else used a cheapo replacment motor in an SV with the stock ESC ??

    cheers

I have the Turnigy motor from Kintec. But for some reason that doesn´t work smoothly.

i am afraid to try the cheaper hobby king motors. i figure you get what you pay for. castle has a sale on there 1515 & 1717 motors. i just stuck a 1512 1.5y in my miss geico and with all the wind today still hit 40 on the gps.

I was told myself the first option from hobbyking was the 36 56 one and for the price works fine.

You guys gotta check the power output on these motors. Yes they will work for the price, but their only good for 400 watts on the one and 460 watts on the other max. The new sv motors are 6 pole more efficient and put out more watts. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=dh-aqug7002 or buy a 1512 like mentioned above and call it a day

These are some good options for anything less than 30" hulls...

            Turnigy 1600KV Outrunner

            Turnigy 1800KV Outrunner

            1900KV 9XL Inrunner

            2300KV 8L Inrunner

The last one might be a little on the hot side...but the SV is a pretty small hull :)
