    Cavitation

    hi to all. my name is junior new to rc boats and luvin it and new to this forum. i have a sv27 everything stock other then the ray fuller turn fins is it normal for cavitation on left turns. thanks

    You might be getting "lift" off the rudder as the hull leans into the turn. In that case its going to take some tweaking to remove. Like either adjusting the stinger or rudder. Are you running the stock prop?

        you will get less cavitation with a 42x55 grimracer prop as well bud its verrrry popular and faster

          Another thing you wanna do is move the batteries up. Remove the battery trays completely, and then move your batteries around inside until the center of gravity is 8 3/4" from the transom (rear). This will balance the boat out and you should see less cavitation. Once you've found the center of gravity, place a full length strip of velcro on both the battery and the boat. Hope this helps!

              well its a 2 blade vs. a 3 so more top end speed and if you move the batteries up some there is little cavitation happening,oh and have it sharpened and balanced you will love it

                    they are around just he is out of stock.I sharpen and balance my own and heck ya huge difference they rip in that boat.

                      Its 2mm larger as well. The blades will dip into the water a little deeper and get a better "bite"
