There are several FE boaters in the Dallas area. They often get together north of Farmers Branch on the weekends to run. PM or e-mail Richard (txboatpilot on OSE), he should be able to hook you up.

I'm in Hurst about 2 minutes for ms71171.....ps i got your strut welded up today.....need to do some finish work but you should be good to go! Fixed the SV27 hull last night and did some of things you told me about.....might get it on the water later this evening.

Would like to hear more about the farmer's branch group.....I work near there.

I live in Houston but my cousin lives on the south side...off of I-35....near the Bairds Bakery. I visit a least once a month We both run AQ nitro and electric boats. We sometimes go to BenBrook Lake....and there is activity at Echo Lake as well.

I live in Cy-Fair.....right next door. Yea...I contacted a fella on RCU who also runs in Katy.....unless that is you.....but I run mainly nitro. And if it the same club, they don't allow nitro boats in that pond. I have a Traxxas Blast....which is slow and I am going to make it into a retrieval boat ala Diesel's rig....I just got my dad a Rio...which is a lil better...but I guess I'm gone have to "come over to the Dark Side" as that fella put it. I guess I can see what used SV 27's are out there since I already have the nitro version.
