So are you running it in parallel or serial? 6s will certainly fry the stock esc before to long won't it?

I did not change the stock wiring so I'm running in parallel as 6s. Guess I'll by a new ESC once this one fries : )

In the first post it says your running 2 3s lipos, but in the last post you say parallel 6s. I'm so are you running 2 3s packs or 2 6s packs?

        2 3s in series = 6s
        2 3s in parallel = 3s

I'm running everyday 2 2S packs using the stock wiring config which I thought was in parallel, but it's in series It seems.

I tried running 2 3S packs from my buddies boat and that's the second vid.

I'll do some research again this weekend to learn more about the various combinations of props/batteries/esc etc. I've just had too much fun playing with it so far to really learn enough as I should about the wiring.

I run 2-2s in series and it's as fast if not faster then your second vid. I use 6mm gold connectors but if u go to the second diagram and choose 3 series you can get the general idea. http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/_lipo.html I think if you run 2-3s in series you'll fry your esc very fast!

Running 5s you WILL fry your set-up! The question is how long will it take...

Well, it finally fried my stock esc. I ran my 2 2s last night and this morning the motor just barely turns and makes a electronic chattering sound.

I ran the 6s 2 3s lipos once last week in a few bursts so that did it.

Oh well, I have a new Seeking 120 on the way and that new Feigao motor from Diesel.

The stock motor and esc will take 5s for sure
I run my SV on 5s and run low 50's
