    2nd time out on the water!!

    Hi all... hears some pics of my Super-Vee27 2nd time out on the water (running on 2 7s Nimh batts) it has a aftermarket prop... not shure witch one (i baught the boat used from a guy who races) but this is my 1st boat that will actually get up on plain and when it does it hauls ***!! im going to be picking up lipo's for it tomarrow :) Question: Does the Supervee have a lipo Low voltage cutoff? of do i have to buy one?

    Well anyways Let me know what yall think of the pics








    I will be getting more Better pictures once i get the lipos for it :)

    to answer your question no it doesn't have a low voltage cut off for lipos.
    pick up one of these it will save your batteries.

    also hobbyking is a good place for turnigy 5000mah 20-30c 2s lipos.

      Just looked at them sights and ima have to save the sights :D also thanks for letting me know about the lipo cut off. im going to pick one up once i get the batteries :) Thanks "onegreenray" !!

        Very good idea, although the lipo cut-off is not necessary to run with it is a GREAT idea to have. Also if running 7 cell nimh hump packs it is also a good idea to disconnect the esc's bec and run a rx pack or seperate bec. To disconnect the esc's bec read this DON"T CUT the wire, just lift the little plastic lock tab on the plug the goes in the receiver and pull out the wire. WIth the lipos some guys run the 20c's I run only 30c and up personnel preference only. HK is a great place, jan at kintec also sell the turnigy/zippy battereis which he gets from HK as well and he waits the 2-3 weeks to receive them but shipps to you in 3-5 days so you don't have to wait.           I got the lipo cut off i got a new motor (sence the stock one went out) ad im ready for the watter once ahain on 4s lipo's :) its quick on 4s!!!
