Venom 5400 lipos in stock SV

Just bought a pair of 2s2p 5400 mah lipo pacs rated at 20c (108A)
Can I run these with stock motor, esc., prop?
I did a search and could not find much info on the Venom lipos.
I know there are better cells out there.
This is just a sport boat, so I'm not trying to break any speed
records.

you should be able to. i run those exact same packs in my ul-1.

I will give it a go.
The boat is much lighter with these pac's
so they have to go much forward than my NiMH ones.

ya im running 2s2p lipos and u should be fine ur weakest piont will be your ESC

You will need to remove the battery trays and use Velcro instead to hold them in place start with them about even with the end of the stringers and move them forward till at runs without wanting to blow over then mark the spot OK

Thaxs for the pic.
I didn't say before, but my SV hull has been altered.
Remember the worlds fastest SV competition?
Well anyway the boat was chopped 1.25 or so, and
set up for a 8XL and 4s-2s lipo.
Had problems with ESC"s so I lost interest in the
project. (spent too much money)
Now I am dialing back to the stock motor and ESC.
After all the work that went into this hull mod I
just would like to get it running again.
I will try to attach a pic.
