Yes a 1515 will fit in the stock mtr mount but its not the right mtr for that hull. Its too big. A 1512 is the recomended hop up mtr for the hull and more then enough to push the hull into unstability. You could get by with a 1509 too as that mtr has more power then the stock one does.
If you wan to go crazy fast get a 1512 2D. Just make sure you always tape up the hatch because you will end up flipping it when you least expect. But it is fun hauling the mail!
I've run mine with the Ammo 2300 and got over 50MPH out of it but it was upside down more than not. The SV at over 45mph is a handful to run I put the stock SV motor back in and get 40 MPH all the time with a Grim 42/55 and it runs great. My friend has a UL-1 setup in his and that runs great also. I think that if you really want to go that fast its time for a new boat maybe a DF 33 anyway thats just my 2 cents.
I wouldn't spend Neu money on a SV, if you want a different motor rock a 12l like baked said or ul-1 power like mine and it will run good. If you wanna run a Neu, buy a DF hull or even a DF copy, JMO....
