    Battery location ?

Fo those of you with SV27's. Are any of you runing your lipos down the middle in front of the motor ?. I've seen pics other monos of similar size, were this is being done.

I'm running mine with the leading edge of the lipo at the leading edge of the rails. I found this location the best for my set-up. If you watch my SV video you can see a pic of it at the ends, but I can't upload an image right now.

I run mine about 50% of the lipo is past the edge of the Motor mount.. The reason i was asking, is when a few buddy's of mine went to BIG a race on the eastcoast of FL, eairler this year. they said the fast SV27's were running there lipos down the middle in FR of the motor.

Do you have a link to your video ?. I found it .

Get some photos because to do that you would have to move the motor closer to the transom to get the CG right in that class theres nothing to say you cant mod the inside of your boat

It's in my signature, it towards the very end you can see a pic of them in the boat. You see the boat is running really well in the vid

I found it . I tried running my lipos like that. The boat would porpose bad. The more i slide them foward the better the boat handled.

I run with the end of my batteries lined up with the end of the motor so the boat is stable and gets good speed but won't bow steer. Several others in my club run the same way but you have to get the trim tabs, strut, and rudder just right so that its stable.
